Congratulations to RCEC Youth Ambassador Kofi Annan-Brown for a successful December 2023 fundraising campaign to bring the gift of education, empowerment skills and computer literacy to Rural Communities Empowerment Center (RCEC)!

- Kofi is a 10th grade student at Phillips Exeter Academy in New Hampshire, Massachusetts.

Kofi visited RCEC in July 2023 and taught 30 students a lesson on the fundamentals of computer science and spoke about his passion for learning.

His successful campaign raised $1700 to provide 8 months of internet access for 250 students.

Kofi and His Visit
Hi, I am Kofi Annan-Brown, 2023 RCEC Youth Ambassador. I visited RCEC in Apirede, which is in the town my grandmother was born and where my great grandparents lived. It was an incredible experience! Touring the RCEC Center, I came to believe that by providing digital literacy skills to the children, they will have a bright future.
